Ryan J. Grove

Ryan is a third-generation attorney. His late grandfather, father, uncle, and aunt practice law in the State of Minnesota. Ryan grew up in Burnsville, MN located in Dakota County. Following his father around in court from a young age, Ryan knew he would follow in the footsteps of his family tradition and become an attorney.

During law school, Ryan clerked for the Honorable Judge Janet Cain in Carver County, MN. Working one-on-one with a judge early in his career was a great way to learn the system from a judge’s point of view. After that, Ryan spent two and a half years as a certified student-attorney with the First Judicial Public Defender’s Office in Hastings, MN. Ryan has represented hundreds of clients ranging from small misdemeanors to Murder cases. Ryan has handled jury trials ranging from misdemeanors to felony first-degree criminal sexual conduct. In fact, Ryan’s first jury trial was for a client charged with domestic assault. After a three-day jury trial, the jury only needed to deliberate for 8 minutes before rendering a verdict of not guilty on all counts. Since then, Ryan has continued to receive dismissals and not guilty verdicts for his clients.

Ryan’s focus is on criminal defense. Ryan is also experienced in personal injury law. If you or a loved one have been injured by the fault of another, contact Ryan to assist you today.

When Ryan is not in the courtroom, he enjoys spending time fishing and golfing at his cabin with his wife and black lab.
